Happy Thanksgiving!

This was Ryleigh's very first Thanksgiving and I think that she had a lot of fun! On Wednesday, we drove to Snyder and had lunch with Uncle Russell, Aunt Carolyn, Jenny, and Grandma. We really wanted to see the boys, but they didn't get to come up until Sunday. It was great seeing them again. We hadn't seen them since June!

Then on Thursday, we went to Brownwood and had lunch with the family at Rex and Cheryl's house. It was a great time. Ryleigh enjoyed eating a feast and playing with her cousins. The rest of the day was very lazy, which is what we needed after filling our bellies. On Friday we played with grandma, grandpa, Tim, and Stephanie. We even visited with Papa Olen.

Saturday we went to a movie. Yes....grandpa really wanted to take Ryleigh to her first movie. We saw "Bolt!" It was a great movie and Ryleigh made it through the whole thing. I was worried I was going to be that parent with the screaming baby who every one wishes would leave, but we didn't have that problem. Yeah! Then on Saturday night, we went to my cousin Jessica's wedding. It was a late night, but a lot of fun. We saw some family that has never had the chance to meet Ryleigh. Finally, on Sunday we went to church and had a birthday lunch for my dad at the house. Then we packed up and headed back home. All in all, it was a fabulous Thanksgiving. We did miss daddy because he was gone alot with football, but we are happy the bulldogs are still in the playoffs!!!

We want you all to know that we are thankful for each and every one of you. You mean so much to us and we pray for you daily. We are thankful for the many blessing that the Lord has given us: jobs, a home, a church home, friends, family, a happy marriage, a sweet baby girl, and Jesus Christ. The list could go on and on. We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving as well! We love you!

Here is Ryleigh with her best bud, Jenny! Don't be alarmed...we are still Texas fans, but this outfit was too cute for Jenny to pass up. She is red raider, but we won't let her win Ryleigh over!

Here is Ryleigh stuffing her face. She enjoyed potatoes, green beans, sweet potatoes, and a roll for Thanksgiving...along with a little whip cream from the top of our dessert!

Sweet kisses for mommy!
Hanging out with Daddy!

Here is Ryleigh playing with her cousins. They had the best time!

Here is Nana with her great-grandbabies! How perfect!
Let's just say that this was not the only bath Ryleigh got this Thanksgiving. We had to hose her down several times after meals! HA!
Here is Ryleigh with grandpa. Check out her new outfit from Aunt Carolyn and Jenny! They keep my baby in the hottest styles!
Finally, here is my exhausted baby when she finally made it back to her own bed on Sunday afternoon. She took a great nap...she needed it!
